From auditing policies and handbooks to creating or editing them, Kendall is highly skilled at updating these critical business documents such that they are responsive to the business needs and compliant with the regulatory landscape. He is also well-versed in contract review and negotiation having drafted and edited various types of contracts, such as employment agreements, NDAs, construction contracts, technology agreements, and collective bargaining agreements. As a trained mediator and negotiator, he is uniquely skilled at resolving disputes amicably and expeditiously. With over 30 years of experience investigating issues and cases involving Title IX, discrimination, policy violations and accidents/incidents that could result in financial liability. he can not only professionally investigate matter for clients but can also teach investigation skills to their team to build expertise. His dispute resolution skills make him an exceptional ombuds or mediator.

Kendall D. Isaac has served as general counsel for public and private colleges and universities. He has been appointed as the chief legal officer at liberal arts, national research, and regional institutions of higher education.   His experiences also encompass serving as a chief of staff, a Board secretary, a chief human resource officer, a litigator, a law professor, a mediator, an arbitrator and a claims adjuster.  These experiences, inclusive of HR and investigation roles with Fortune 500 companies, have informed his abilities to navigate challenging conflicts with diplomacy and tact, difficult investigations with an eye towards thoroughness and fairness, and complex regulations with a keen ability to make the complicated palatable and actionable for his clients.    He graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.A. in rhetorical communications, from Capital University Law School with a J.D. and a concentration in labor and employment law, and from Columbus State University with an Ed.D. in higher education curriculum and leadership.
